YOU can SPARK Kindness by sharing your time, energy, and skills!
What does it mean to be a SPARK volunteer? What would you do? SPARK is for the community and by the community. We rely on dozens of volunteers each year to do this work. Thanks for taking part!
Help spread the word about SPARK Kindness and our free programs, and connect with and welcome others in the community. This is a HUGE way to help SPARK that’s as easy as having a conversation, forwarding an email, or sharing a social media post.
SPARK needs support with brochure distribution and mailings, compiling evaluation information, and other tasks. If you have some time to help from the comfort of your own home or office, let us know!
We have a number of committees that meet regularly (virtually now, of course!) to focus on planning our programming, connecting with community partners, raising funds to support SPARK, marketing our events, and diversity, equity and inclusion work. Serving on a SPARK committee is a great way to get to know the organization, meet people with similar interests and areas of expertise, and influence the content and scope of programming we bring to the community.
Team up with volunteers who support opportunities for connection in our community through random acts of kindness and fun (with appropriate physical distancing, as needed). We convene the team as needed to spread joy, inspire interaction, and support the efforts of SPARK Kindness. Participation on any level of commitment from all members of our community is welcome.
As soon as physical distancing permits, there will be so many ways to lend a hand. If you are looking for ways to get engaged from time to time, event support might be the right place for you: greeting and working at our info table, or helping with set-up and clean-up, book sales and other logistical needs. A win – win; you can help SPARK AND benefit from participating in our programming at the same time!
Are you a grant writer, data manager, web developer, videographer, marketer or designer? Do you represent another nonprofit or group serving youth and families in Natick/MetroWest? Let us know!
