"Caught Being Kind" | 10/15-11/15
Kindness is all around us—but in today’s world, it’s easy to overlook. This fall, Spark Kindness is launching a new initiative to spotlight everyday acts of care and humanity that make our community stronger.
From October 15–November 15, Spark’s “Caught Being Kind” campaign invites everyone to share moments of kindness—big or small—to inspire others. Whether it’s a student helping a classmate, a neighbor lending a hand, or a stranger offering a smile—kindness is all around us, and we want to hear about it! Your stories will help create a wave of connection and goodwill that will culminate in Spark’s Kindness Week—a week of programs, service opportunities, and events celebrating the power of kindness.
We’re on a mission to capture 100 acts of kindness by the start of Kindness Week on November 8. Will yours be one of them? Let’s “Spark” Kindness today!
Here’s how it works (easy!):
- Spot kindness – Big or small, every act counts.
- Share it – Tell us just a few details in our form—a quick note is all we need!
- We celebrate – Spark Kindness will send the person a “Caught Being Kind” certificate (if you know who they are) or add their story to our online Kindness Wall.
Don’t know the person’s name? No problem! You can still share the moment and we will post it on the online Kindness Wall! It’s a powerful way to lift each other up, spotlight the good in our community, and inspire even more acts of kindness.
Catch someone being kind today.
Celebrate a kind act and help us shine a light on the people who make our neighborhoods, schools, organizations and communities stronger. And join us for our "Community Kindness Celebration" (casual, low key, just neighbors celebrating the kindness that is all around us!) on November 9th as part of Spark's annual Kindness Week. We will send you and your nominee an invite if you include your information!
