Meet Danica Champion
Danica is a Natick resident, a mom of two, and has always loved running and being outside. She has been an ESL teacher for the past 11 years, and works hard to ensure that all children and their families feel welcomed, supported, and respected, no matter what. Having only run half marathons in the past, she is thrilled to be able to run her first marathon in Boston, raising money for Spark Kindness.
In Danica's words, "Spark does amazing work in communities to make sure no one feels alone, bullied, or unconnected, and she is honored to be able to support a cause she feels passionately about. Any support is deeply appreciated!"

Spark Marathon History
Spark Kindness has been a Boston Marathon Town of Natick Charity Bib Partner since 2016. Over those 11 years, our runners have put in tens of thousands of miles and together these incredible and kind individuals have raised more than $100,000 ... and counting for Spark Kindness! Every dollar raised supports Spark's free programs and free resources to promote connection, mental wellbeing and resilience for kids, families and communities.
