Kindness in Action: Moments That Made This Year’s Kindness Week Amazing!

Celebrating community, connection, and everyday good—highlights and photos from an inspiring 8th Annual Kindness Week.

By Spark Kindness Team

Recapping An Amazing Kindness Week!

Hundreds of community members, local businesses, organizations and partners came together for the 8th Annual Kindness Week from November 8-15th!

A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who participated and helped amplify the meaningful goals of Kindness Week: to celebrate, to inspire, and to connect while shining on a spotlight on the everyday good.

Are you interested in helping plan Kindness Week 2026? We would love for you to join the crew! Please email kindnessweek@sparkkindness.org for more information!

Our goals of Kindness Week are to:

  • Share what individuals are already doing to promote and practice kindness.
  • Celebrate and amplify the voices of the “quiet majority of kindness.”
  • Inspire and leave visible signs of kindness in our community.
  • Build skills of empathy and understanding of (often hidden) challenges in community.
  • Provide and highlight opportunities for community members to connect and serve during the week.
  • Foster connections and deepen relationships between within the community

Do you have pictures or stories from the week? Share them with us! Email kindnessweek@sparkkindness.org.
