About This Event:

Our speaker, Liza Hirsch, Director, Children’s Justice Unit of the Office of Attorney General, will provide an overview of the Children’s Justice Unit and its work across the Commonwealth, including their comprehensive response (12 Step Plan) to the egregious incidents of Identity-Based Bullying and Civil Rights violations in Southwick, MA.

Additionally, she will discuss the legal implications of bullying and harassment for parents, schools, and communities. Ms. Hirsch will also highlight what community organizations such as faith leaders, nonprofits, police, coaches, and medical/mental health professionals can do to address and prevent discriminatory harassment and bullying.
